The Inspiration
"the senses, complete absorption in touch, sound, sight, taste, movement, shivers, goosebumps, sweat, running hand through your damp hair, muscles pumping, drinking water from a gallon jug, no whiskey, looking around, standing before a wall of sound and speakers"

Description of Performance
One dancer wearing a black jumper with grey tennis shoes, a dark room, one industrial light on a step ladder, a orange podium, a thirteen minute piece of music. It was silent when the audience walked in, the dancer stood on top of the podium, then the music started. The music looped over and over until the dancer was done, she danced for over an hour. The audience watched, drank beers and mingled amongst themselves. When the dancer finished and stepped off the podium she walked over to a friend and started chatting, some members of the audience started to dance around the podium. The light on the ladder blew out ten minutes later and then the music stopped finally stopped. Then the lights went on.
